So it seems, in our election process when we have a president up for re-election we put him up against a rich, blue-blood from Massachusetts. Am I the only one seeing this connection? I mean aside from the obvious similarities between Romney and Kerry, they are both long-winded, soulless flip floppers who really have no core values of their own. They both float with the wind and hope they look the part enough to get in.

If Romney has anything going for him it’s that he just looks like a president. If he doesn’t get a job in the white house, maybe he can start an acting career playing the US president in all films in the future. He definitely looks the part but he has no substance. He doesn’t really have an identifiable issue or belief system to work from, he just talks and talks vaguely about issues to avoid giving a clear-cut statement altogether.

A true politician, but as we saw with Kerry, it wont be enough to take the presidency. Obama is really the new Bush anyway, so who better to run against him than the new Kerry. It’s almost too weird to think about. Obama, who ran on a foreign policy of peace and promised to bring the troops home has gone back on those promises and actually added more invasions to the list. On top of that, the economy is in serious trouble (because of the wars) and the only thing he can point to is the health care law he got passed, but America is pretty divided on that as well.

The race should be interesting since we saw it 8 years ago. Maybe Kerry wins this year, the new Kerry that is. They’re smiling together, this is too weird.
